So I just bought a pair of Rayon and Ramie pants by Y's at IF, they have a wrinkled treatment and the tag says the wrinkle is not permanent.
How "not permanent" are the wrinkles?
There are already enough warnings on the tag that make me think they'll explode if they go anywhere near my washing machine (or any kind of water for that matter)... but if I send them to the drycleaners letting them know they're supposed to be wrinkled what's going to happen?

The pants I bought :) I got the only pair unfortunately.
I'm not a big fan of IF, though I always end up trying to buy one or two basics at the basement sale... It's worth going to, though I didn't see any Carpe Diem stuff or anything else too out of the ordinary.
Most of what I've gotten there I've never worn because they some sort of bizarre detail... pants with no belt loops that fall down even if sized properly, pants where the pockets were sewn almost completely shut as part of the design (I tried to have them opened by a tailor and they ripped the first day), and these wrinkly pants I'll add to the list if they don't hold up to a cleaning.

^Was there when I was in NYC last. Awesome, awesome stuff.
Now, for my small question. Does anyone have any experience ordering from Luisa Via Roma or Antonioli? I'm always wary about ordering from places overseas. Smooth transactions, shipping, etc? Someone ease my mind.Life is a hiiighway

Have ordered from LVR, all was well. You will pay 10% customs. Antonioli will automatically tack the customs on for you and save you the hassle.Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months - Oscar Wilde

^Aaah, nice. Thanks for the reply, Faust. Also, what's up with Antonioli's prices being significantly less than LVR's? Or am I just doing the conversions wrong.
*edit*
Is it because LVR's prices include VAT?
