In my town the cobblers do not have vibram soles, even the black ones, I have bought some from ebay but with uk-only sellers.

You could check these guys (they sell coloured soles for woman and man):

there are also some ebay sellers:

But I think it is important you check pretty well the size you are looking for.

Yeah, I was actually keen enought to try that. The cobbler I use can't seem to source them but they do a great job on my stuff so I want to continue using them.

Go to another cobbler, buy the sole, and bring it to yours.

            J,

if you have a problem finding I may be able to help you
I am going to a leather supplier today that actually sells these, I dont know what colors the store has but I will check and let you know, its a very big store that supplies almost all Cobblers in NYC so I'm sure they would have a wide assortment of stuff.

I have a good relationship with them, so it may even be much cheaper than going through ebay

And no, no one else ask me cause I'm very busy, I am only doing this for J, because he is a good friend.......
“You know,” he says, with a resilient smile, “it is a hard world for poets.”

I've been wearing Guidi footwear in some form or other for a pretty long time and I've never understood the fascination with model numbers.

I can understand looking for a certain type of one leather over another just because of the way they can affect fit and wear but can someone let me in on the model number fascination? I can see if you're going to buy something specific from the newest season and you're contacting a retailer who may not have much info online to confirm you're getting the style you want. But beyond that, it kind of confuses me.

My Guidi buying experience has been this approach in a nutshell: Those are sick as fuck, I know they generally fit 2 sizes large in my case. I get an outsole measurement, take into consideration the shape of the toe, the height of the heel and pull the trigger. Or not. What else is there to know?

Did anyone else do a blood red hoodie similar to the BBS one? I know Odyn Vovk was using red on some pieces but I can't say if the staple terry cloth hoodie was ever produced in red.

I grow tired of tracking down the BBS. Just looking for something similar in color and treatment.

i have no idea but if anyone has tried this please post the results! i do know a few womenswear designers have labelled things "shaved pony hair" and it looks like a more textured suede.

I've seen purses 'shed' and it looks more less like normal leather but I wanted to know if there was a proper way to do it.

Cows; even 3M's own webstore doesn't seem to stock it. You might try calling people on these lists:
