It's alright. Actually hook fastener came the closest to what I'm looking for.

though, i do somewhat prefer the archaic crotchet and loop

edit: hook and eye clasp, which i see you've already hit upon, is perfectly correct.
Thanks! Now for the curveballiest question of them all, have any idea who produces pieces for designers? Outside of etsy shops I couldn't really find any manufacturers who sell them.

Check any place that sells zippers or buttons.

I tried that first but wasn't really able to find anything that looked remotely similar.

However I've found a few that might fit the bill so thanks to all for helping!

              Oh...didn't know that. Thanks a lot! :)
Can I assume that T is between R and S then?

Is the jacket pictured the Sternberg jacket? Not sure, just want to confirm with someone.
                  Thanks in advance.

Yeah, It's most likely this one right here, https://www.rickowens.eu/en/men/products/ru15s4763lr-09

On the other hand, anyone know how to stop object dyed pants from rubbing off on footwear? Would simply washing them be fine to prevent or at least minimize it? It's not too big a problem as it rubs right off with a cloth and some water on any sneakers or boots, but it's a little bothersome.

Got a Devoa coat -- arms are very long (reaching probably to the middle knuckles of my fingers). "Anatomical"/raglan shoulders & flared sleeve opening. Tailor it to the first knuckle (fist knuckles) or even wrist (happy medium: thumb base knuckle)? Leave as is? If I tailor, do I have to destroy the flared sleeve?

I like my coats to hit the middle of my hand. Long enough to create that monkey arm look but not long enough to get in the way.

Ive seen it referred to the Sternberg as well as the "Ricks" jacket. The names tossed around with Rick's stuff can be very ambiguous I find, I think ive seen just about every one of shoes either referred to as the Geobasket or Ramones.

There is no BBS showroom in Paris, other than the private one for clients/press during PFW. He has a private showroom with archive collections in Barcelona which you can visit on appointment. Only store that stocks BBS I am aware of in Paris is L'Eclaireur Rue Herold
