Anyone have experience with this ribbed knit wool beanie by RO?

    http://www.oki-ni.com/accessories/me...ow2117blk.html

I would go with cashmere ideally since I need something warmer than regular old cotton beanies up here in Canada, but I find most cashmere beanies too thin so they tend to feel like they're going to blown off by the high winds I get up here. Hoping that this thick wool one is a good compromise instead.

    Any insight is appreciated, thanks!

That photo is from a site selling unnamed knock offs, don't know who might make the original.

thats my blazer lol. meaning that exact one. well, now it is. the original owner can maintain his semi-anonymity.

its just a men's blazer in black from a few seasons ago. 50/50 wool linen tweed. (The official name of the jacket is the "Men's Blazer". Paul doesn't call any of his jackets a classic blazer.)

This product page gave me hope because it gives the composition as cotton/elastane, but it could just be talking about the waist band:

OK, mine is a reasonably heavy and thick wool knit, I think it will handle the Finnish winter just fine. Hope it's the same one!

                    They're like sweatpants, not denim.

                      so there is a s t r e t c h y fabrication of pods that looks like sweatpants? That's what I'm after.

Do you know if anyone has some in stock?

                      Thanks for your help.

edit: just to clarify: all the sweatpant-looking rick shorts i have found so far are 100% cotton and non-stretchy.

there are ones that are proper sweatpant fabric, as in the same cotton as the sweatpants are (both light and heavy weight), and those are indeed 100% cotton and quite stretchy, as sweatpants usually are. here's an example.

then there is a stretchy cotton-elastane used in some pants and pods as well, but it doesn't really look or feel like sweatpant material. you can see pair of pants in that material here.

Both are stretchy and very comfortable imo.

Weird question but I'm thinking of dying a pair of BBS P13 from a greenish white to black. Any ideas how I can bring the buttons to black? Thanks!

                            Aren't the buttons leather?

They look more like painted wood? I'm not 100%. I'm really not the crafty type of person so if the answer is "paint them", an indication with whta I should paint them so that the paint stays would be most welcome =)
