    ID Guidi

Hello, first post! I did some lurking and I assumed posting my question here instead of the Guidi thread would be more appropriate. If this is not the right place to ask this question my sincerest apologies. So i recently picked up my first pair of Guidi boots and they are the 696 side zips and the original owner was not sure what type of leather they were. I was hoping some members from the community with more knowledge than I could assist me in learning what kind of leather these boots are. Thanks in advance!

To add some info: apparently Lien and N/07 are owned by the same person, Satoshi Nishino.

N/07 used to be a more Japanese streetwear brand, then seemed to do a collab with WJK and then it turned Devoa-y.

that would be my bet, only pig leather has pores like that (except maybe leather made of human skin).

You should post a pic of the actual piece. The tag is absolutely awful.
i agree, the stitching (and image) on the tag is horrendous. the piece itself is really well made though

"well made" doesn't quite come across in that photo unfortunately. Looks pretty plain. What kind of garment is designed in 3 cities as well? Multinational corporation?

Can anyone speak for Lost & Found's footwear? Is it Goodyear welted, the construction of their shoes, info of that sort. I'm looking for a pair of derbies, something along the look of Guidi 992s.

                  bbs resin pants

hi , recently bought some bbs resin coated pants ( from gnow - thanks ! ) but im finding the resin finish a bit too shiny for my liking ... ideally i would like to remove it completely but i dont think thats possible .

any tips on how to dull it down or make it less pronounced ?

tried multiple washes , acetone , meths etc but nothing seems to bring it off ...

                  cheers !

Bigjus - I've used really high grit sandpaper and that's worked. It depends on how exterior the coating is / deeper, saturated into the fabric is hard to remove. It may take down the shine though. Def not able to completely remove it without some likely unwanted damage to them.
