I don't get why so many sock questions make their way into SZ. I mean a few pairs of 'luxury' socks can get you something way cooler in clothes that matter.

As of now, for most of interview and photoshoots he has been seen at, he wears his own iteration of RO ss15 socks: you can grab a pair in their Paris store (confirmed myself) or at cottonclubshop online (white/black only). Of course it's nothing but a promotion.

(tejas 2mm round leather) I haven't tried it yet but I gave it a tug and it felt strong, slightly smaller diameter than what is on my Layer-0 boots, but I was happy to buy a roll and put in on my shelf for the inevitable.

I'm not sure if that's proper shoe lace. I would go either with these guys: http://www.shoelacesexpress.com/ or perhaps try to find someone who does kangaroo leather laces.

Layer0 use cord lace so I think the one recommended is fine. I have use cord lace for my AField derby before works perfectly.

Cord lace is cool but the only reason I warn against that particular pair is that it does not mention itself specifically as suitable for laces, which will create a lot more tension and wear than a necklace or bracelet. Shoelacesexpress also has cord leather, but they specifically call it shoe lace leather. I have some friends who tried to use other corded leathers that were advertised for bracelets snap on them because it was too weak to be properly used for laces.
