ann d sizing this season is wtf, at least regarding outerwear. tried the olive trench and xl was 4 sizes too big, a small fit to a t. that is very odd and it seemed the same for 3 or 4 other coats

If you look at the runway, a lot of the outerwear is meant to be oversized. Try one of the blazers and you will still be XL.Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months - Oscar Wilde

The idea was to tone down the volume with the belt, like this.

"The idea was to tone down the volume with the belt, like this."
I was literally dying for this exact Ann coat. I am a 46/48, but when I tried on the Small, the sleeves completely swallowed my hands and the shoulder seam came halfway to my elbow. We did have a good laugh in the store. It truly felt like I was trying on a large. Even the XS would have been over sized. The model on the runway must be wearing an XXS. I've found this to be a consistent problem. Stores buy S, M, L = M, L, XL. Therefore, no small and no sale.Originally posted by DRRRKThe bridge from Dior to CCP being Rick Owens.

This seems like a WTF to me. A 10K+ RO men's coat at thecorner.com. Is that right? It's cotton, metal, and 4% silver.

Anyone handle this fabric? 40% metal is crazy.
