I think his main point was that you don't see people like this on the street too much, I would imagine not in Iceland either. I never see people like this in Helsinki, theres plenty of hipsters etc but for the most part they are much more low key than anything on Hel-looks. they must spent a lot of time searching for peculiar people, or they just set up the shoots somehow.

it's nordic, not scandinavian. at least no dane, norwegian or swede i met would admit otherwise. i was also told by to steer clear of the finn's because they all carried knives.

I feel like I'm the only one who likes Pugh. Seems like costume design is a perfect fit for him, IMO

I think a lot of people like Pugh from a distance but there's something about his garments that have never translated for me. The general design aesthetic he creates is perfect for costuming (as seen here) but his clothing feels underwhelming to me most of the time.

I don't really think this is WTF...I think it's kind of cool but without the context of the photo, it does leave you wondering what the fuck is actually going on.
