As I say, first impressions are very good. Sturdy and solid; they feel like they'll be able to take a beating. Definately comparative in quality to my Augustas. Overall I'm impressed but time will tell.

thanks guys :D Ahimsa, yeah, they're made of rubber, with a synthetic insole. there're a few cdg veggy-friendly shoes but all others i know are flat, these are the only heels. here's the auction for the beige ones, but the size is very small, and the price very high :-/

If only Julius and RO would start using Lorica... So many Julius jackets I would love to have, and boots from both... Oh, and the Ann D combats...!

since i'm a shoe girl i'll stick to commenting on them...but its obviously clear that good taste is rampant here.

rilu, i adore the rubba shoes. super shape to them and they take waterproof footwear to a new level. you manage to find these needles in the haystack time after time.

guidis never cease to amaze me... in the way they look like a shoe that is passed down from generations as an heirloom. congrats on the acquisition of a shoe that may cost as much as an ounce of gold but is worth much more.

This year I've purchased various versions of this jacket three times - this time I think I've finally found the one I'm keeping.

new stuff from zam; notably the z1 standards (I assume I'm the first one to own them, this is actually in "grey"), the siamese belt, and the linen scarf.

will have texture pics of the scarf up tomorrow; the knit is actually variable and gradient and can be seen against light.

tired from driving today but this is what I wore at least hwen it was colder at night.
