Finally got one in a 44 from when they were nice (2006) in mint condition (not the actual jacket):

I love that style so much tbh. does it really matter though what year? I mean it's still the same shape, and I never knew his leather was anything to be praised of anyway.

However I prefer the current aw matt black one or red one from last season. such a timeless piece imo. nice purchase.

As answered in PM the cut was changed to remove some of the waist suppression and the hardware (large riri zippers) was changed to smaller ones that do not integrate as well with the jacket.

I am really happy about this purchase as it is the very definition of a grail; something I have liked for a long time, that is an examplary piece of design from a creator I respect, in a very hard to find size and configuration and that I plan to wear for as long as it holds up.

what line is that? there's one on eBay that is line 4, but aren't the current ones line 14? i've also seen some that are line 10...

i think it has changed over the years and you can use the line to date the jacket but i have no idea what was produced when

I am curious that chest measurement seems off as well no??? the ratio from shoulder to Chest.

Whoever fits a shoulder to shoulder of 17.5 (meaning your probably wider than this, probably a true 18) and have a chest of only 33inches :/

Even male models are not that skinny in the chest and they are skinny.

Edit: I guess a true 33 in chest could wear it baggier ....
