^Prime example of a very important lesson we all must learn. Even great designers can make awful pieces! Doesn't matter if it's Devoa or Faded Glory those pants are awful. Even Rick is not infallible, think of how terribly someone could dress in head to toe Rick from some of the gilt bottom of the barrel sales. It's easy to trick yourself into buying something ugly cuz it's a designer you like and you find it cheap, but remember sometimes there's a reason no one else snatched it up.

Yeah, it was an impulse buy on ebay, the auction ended and I made a lowish offer... there were pics of the pants but no fit pics so it was a crapshoot.

Even? I'd say the guy is guilty of many more misses than hits. But when he gets it right, HE GETS IT RIGHT. And I love that - I've always seen Rick's work as a human being designing, fallible, failing, but trying again and again. As opposed to say McQueen, who was simply god incarnate. I just don't want to pay retail prices for Rick's failed experiments I leave that up to people with much more disposable income.

just received the bbs p2-f1946 adjustable inseam shorts in the mail from ink . idk how sizing usually runs from prior seasons for shorts, but these run big. my waist is about 80cm, got an x-small and they're still a bit loose.
