Also why did you pick those slp boots over the ann boots from the past winter that don't have the ugly strap and shiny leather. Seems like those are superior to these boots in almost every way, and even the pony hairs would be less than these prob were.

Oh God, not in the same outfit.
I always liked these boots and they're the version before they switched leathers/hardware. Got them for $330 new.

Ann shoes make my feet look weird. I also bought those Rick Hiking boots so I wanted something in the "other realm".

fell in love with this drkshdw sweater right after i saw it. that draped line is so dramatic, reminds me of Buddhist monks and even Apollo Belvedere haha - but in a very subtle, very rick way.

That tends to happen sooner or later. Either way, it's a great piece. Not the best for layering with other shirts, but works well under a jacket or standalone.
