eton97, it has been a good year. (And spot on with renna's bison-lite qualities, I'd originally drafted my post to say the same.)

faust if I were still in NYC (and not in Los Angeles where it was over 70º today), I'd like to spend some quality time with that hat, nicely done.

daou0782, I have the ma+ 5-pocket trousers from FW13 (in a thinner fabric) and marvel at the pocket stitching, the beautiful button-closure detail, and the overall construction every time I slide them on. (That thick jersey must be both comfortable and empowering; wearing Maurizio's fabrics always make me feel like a luxe superhero.)

LUC pants size 48

Much to my surprise, got these in the mail a couple of hours after the M.A+ arrived. Wasn't expecting them until later next week. LUC tent pants in size 48. They came without tags, but I'm almost certain the fabric is 100% linen. These need to be shortened more than half a feet, but I am extremely pleased with the fit. Hands down, the best fitting pair of pants I own.

you are right, grapefruitpop. i won't hem them. i'll wear them for a while and see how the fabric behaves.

I have the same RENNA Derby. I think simone has tweaked the shape slightly....certainly the depth of the heel cup, so the shoe holds your foot more securely.
Exactly as you say kutra....the RENNA is a wonderful leather. Reminds me of a less textured and very very slightly thinner version of bison.
Breaks in very nicely and the leather is looking better and better as I wear them.
The eggplant sole is a really nice and subtle addition.
I think it's his best Derby yet. Great toe shape and profile.

i havent own a pair of renna derby,i had a experience of my a1923 and ccp derby made from kangaroo leather,through abt a year of wearing the shape of the shoes starting to get quite loose,im just wondering abt the stiffness of renna leather and how durable is it
