Just got this RO Exploder jacket in cotton (as opposed to moleskin, which this pic looks like it's made of) yesterday, but slightly different as it is without the flared hem, nor the contrast lining in the collar, but the same neckline. Also, no zippers on the pockets. I have a feeling the model is wearing the women's version:
i saw that jacket on y!j awhile ago, but i didn't get it because it had the contrast lining. don't remember about the zippers though. it was men's, too.
Wow this is a rare occasion that the SZ is viewable from where I am... There seems to be some blockage from SZ Central to my Malaysian server 90% of the time... But the 10% is worth it...
Anyway, when I was in Japan I decided to ship my winter wear back home since I am not going to get much use out now...
More than a month down the road... no sign of my box... [:(]
Hope the recent purchases do not become recent cosmic donations...

Good lord...I certainly hope they didn't get lost. That would be terrible...

Commie Rabbit, what size are you?
I'm usually a 44 or 46 depending on how narrow the shoulders are. I think I'd be a XS in the piece since the one I tried for fun was a medium and it fit very roomy, so even a small would've been a size too large. I was an XS in the fleece lined hooded leather jacket from the same season if that helps at all to put anything in context with RO's wonky sizing, but then again...
Bakla, that jacket looks wonderful. [64]

Thanks Faust - it's a lot more straightforward in reality (sans Rick's model, also!) especially since it's a straight body and not quite as tight in as in the photo. I might be between a 46 and 48 nowadays since this one is fitted in my shoulder area, although the body is VERY roomy Commie Rabbit, so you might be an S just by the shoulders. I was thinking briefly of selling it since I'm still waiting on another RO jacket I got at Y!J (yes, I'm on an insane Rick kick, I know), but considering the discounted price it turned out to be, I'd be crazy not to keep it.
And now that winter is back in NYC, I can actually wear the things! Although I'm already buying Spring...
