    Re: recent purchases

    [quote user="maldoror"][quote user="JohnFG"]

I would say it is in between CCP and RO in terms of the leather => very soft leather that will become more and more beautiful over time!

In terms of design it reminds me of the early cdiem purity.

They are also doing back zip boots and a leather coat.

Will try to get hold of pics when I'm in Cologne to pic up my bag.

Yes, please do! From what you've described, the boots esp are very intriguing.

I'll do my very best :)

[74] Well i am lucky that i didnt go for the 44. i thought a 46 may be to loose but it is tight as hell...haha. and yes i feel the fear right now, although i wont wear it much till september since it is super hot and sticky here in Korea...

For the jacket i am also happy that i didnt get the invisible seam jacket but a regular one with the same material...One fear factor less (yes yes, i know it were not the seams that ripped[73])

hmmm, lets see how long the shit lasts...

yeah well the bag is the best! You did a great purchase on that, i never saw a better bag before. It seems quite durable and not too much fashion...haha, Kurt used show my Dries van Noten bag to the customers so that they could compare the shitty quality of mine with the Guidi bag. Pretty frustrating for me...If i had the money i would have bought one for sure.

The coat is great too. It didnt impress me too much on the first view but the moment someone wears it, it shows its class. Supernice cut and the nicest leather ever!

I am not a fan of the boots though, not my style...:)

Found a grey reversed calf version of my bag (which is not reversed).

So here are some pics taken from the A website:

I love that bag except for the zip detail that goes on the bottom.

I couldn't care less about it unfolding flat though, what is the price at A anyone know?

You can just leave the zip-ends open, so that the bottom stays "clean" ... that's what I'll do.

Would be interresting to know what As price for the big bag is!

[:'(] Damnit Albert, why can't you be wrong for once? I thought we were breaking some new ground here, although I suppose that the odds of an entirely new continues descended leather line w/out any advance fan fare from elsewhere on SZ are slim to none.

You're right though, it's going to be a while before we see a completely new line from these groups out there I think. In general though I don't believe CCP is run in the way that CDiem is/was and people peeling off to create their own line would be very surprising :)

... of course very welcome too if it happens!!!

yeah some CCP laceup boots would be pretty ill for sure. With that gently pointed toe... goddamn... I love it!
