Ha, don't worry. I think mine was a rare case- I spent a couple hours on one of those inflatable slides, and I think that's what pulled the stitching. Besides, they are good as new now.

Everything else about them is absolutely fantastic- amazing pants. My last pair of raws were APC NS, and this is really a step up.

I think they're definitely doable in warm weather. Light and soft. The more I fondle them, the more I love them. Here's a shot of the fabric up-close that I snapped for another member...
