quality control is probably the last issue with those boots IMO.

You know until you mentioned it, i didn't even realize that there was more than one texture. the pair on LVR says elk leather, mine is definitely looking like reverse calf leather (maybe?), but they definitely don't have as much of a "shredded" look compared to my reverse calf leather combat boots.

Damien, is this size 1 smaller than the Jut neck size 1?

hhmm... would you recommend sizing up one from your normal julius size? the measurements and description have me a bit worried. my size 3 jut neck fits me pretty much spot on.

I wouldn't size up, the rider style of jacket looks better when worn tight.

Not a leather jacket wearer myself, but the CCP
                    is really beautiful, John.

It's with a heavy heart that I announce that the medges are no longer. The the large seam connecting the two pieces of leather on the side of the shoe was splitting, and both heels were already detaching from the bottom of the shoe after one day of wear. The only other person I know who has them had the exact same issue. I brought them back to Palais Royal and they were extremely apologetic and refunded my money immediately. They are sending the entire stock of wedges back to Italy. Hopefully the quality control issues will be addressed and I can buy the wedges again next season. RIP.

Would you opt for the taller smooth medge? I think I like them more anyway...
