these from yoox...i just snatched up a size 8.

have been wanting them for some reason for a while, but price had been always a bit too high for galliano pieces (to me).

Does the length of that toe cap make them uncomfortable? It looks like it runs halfway up the foot. The construction and materials look interesting...I just wonder about that toe cap.

don, i have yet to receive them...yea the toe boxes look way too lifted so i could only hope they wont hurt my feet too much (finger crossed). I did see the lowtop version in person last year tho, and iirc toes of that pair i tried on were less lifted. the shoes were heavy and the leather was of good quality. I was really impressed.

I also nabbed a pair of silver yy lace-ups for the girl. she fell in love with them in Antwerp last year but the price was insane. more than a year later one pops up on ebay and we snag it for a great price. fate works in mysterious ways.

Blackbird has it in white and in black. Hejfina has the grey one.

I wanted the white version, but when I woke up blackbird was sold out in 44, so I took the last one on an obscure japanese shop.

It's narrower shouldered than much other RG I've tried. 52 was too narrow in the shoulders for me, though the body fit as usual.
