sorry I figured there were others waiting and watching them so the first (reasonable) discount I snatched em. And yes, the blue was really THAT heinous! Thankfully it took the dye beautifully and grandma seems to have used natural threads for the stitchwork so even those are black now.

a dozen custom length RiRi's just got dropped off by the UPS man about 10 minutes ago. Yep, they certainly are $$$ but unbeatable quality and feel!

FIRMA Berlin with RiRi zippers:
picked up this boiled wool coat at Firma Berlin, first time i've used RiRi zippers, i rubbed a graphite pencil on the teeth of the zipper (graphite is an excellent dry lubricant) - opening and closing the RiRi zipper is like drawing a knife through warm butter
