I got tired of the treatment on mine but loved the shape and fit of the boots, so i polished it down, and now it's like i've gotten myself a new pair of footwear

ABS: yea. now that ive got them. im certain they are the same pair, with/without waxed.

wow. those look pretty fresh after the polish! hahah. although i personally prefer the waxed version, like the 'used' look on boots. but these would do for now.

in fact, i was wondering if its possible to create the whitish waxed effect DIY.

Are you referring to the whitish effect that's on the toe box, or the other random parts?
The toe box and certain parts at the back are actually sanded down. As for the other random parts, i don't know what was done to them.

Yea, when i first got mine, i loved that distress/used look too, but after awhile, i guess i grew out of it, preferring something a little more classic/timeless..

And the best thing...I throw them in the washing machine and then into the dryer, and they remain unscathed!

I'm not sure since I got them on auction, it has linen on the outside, and what appears to be poplin on the inside panel with blue detailing inside the pant. product code is 4/11F-LI2, I freaking love these pants.

Hi ABS do you know what leather it is? do you think we can do the sanded down DIY for anyother calf leather?
