If someone asks how much an item of clothing costs (ex. boots). I'll reply with, "well, let's just say they're worth more than the feet in them."

    That is usually enough.

I hate it when people ask about prices without really caring about anything else than the number. its one thing if for example someone from here asks because I know they might have a genuine interest in the garment. but when someone who has a completely different aesthetic asks "how much was that leather jacket dude", I can't bother to reply anything else than "enough" or "a fair amount". its the same as the type who ask how much your salary is.

funny i like saying 5800 when people ask about the fencing. when they turn around there is always a visible shit stain in their blue jeans.
One wonders where it will end, when everything has become gay.

oddly (a pleasant surprise) i've never been asked flat out how much any of my clothes cost. then again i don't really own anything that looks overtly and distinguishably lavish, not to mention none of it even fits properly.

Atro, I've been in that boat a few times. I usually don't disclose how much it costs. Not about the money.

there's a guy in vancouver who's definitely "part of the club".

he works at shopper's drug mart, and owns rick sneaks and a killer julius leather. i used to see him come into komakino.

i saw him waiting at the bus stop in kits the other week and just pointed at his shoes and yelled YES! and then his jacket and yelled EYEEES!

                    then I kept walking.

i see a guy pretty much daily by my office in 3 or 4 different rick jackets and drkshdw jeans. usually look each other up and down. this thread is getting a bit missed encounters/homoerotic edition.

I also saw some guy in kits wearing that nappy Doma trench one day and almost shit my pants, it was awesome.
heh, that would have been jacob, i remember him buying it from komakino.
