Not so long ago - at a funeral, no less - an older woman gave me a thumb's up and called me "Madonna." I'm assuming she was simply at a loss for a more adequate cultural reference, as I neither look nor dress anything like Madonna.

I don't know, I seem to remember seeing you in this.

Perhaps you look and dress like this?

I though everyone went through a Gaultier cone bras phase. Right? Right?

                Ayayayayayayayayayayaya!

Classy choice. I also always wanted a chakram.

                *edit*

I knew I spelled it wrong. Thanks JoniF.

I was in Vegas not even wearing anything too crazy

just a simple t, a pair RO jeans and Neil Barrett boots and I got called a cowboy of all things by a group of gangsta thugs wearing du-rags and size 40 jeans

i've recently moved to maryland from nyc and i feel i have to tone done probably 80% of what i wear due to social differences between the two cities. i've got a lot of odd looks in this city and as i dont readily mind it does get a bit frustrating at times.

I can relate. I went from the North to the South as well. I am used to the looks by now, and in some ways I get a kick out of them.

The other day in Target, me and my girlfriend with Zamb's bags.

Cashier: I really like your bags. Who are they by?
                              Me: A friend online.
Cashier: Get out of my face.

Zamb's bags are really great quality at very affordable prices. They might not be as polished as the ones you see at A and other stores, but every little detail reveals his attention and craftsmanship: little red stitchings, overlocking, placement of the back pockets/compartments, etc.

The Phoenix bag's fold has yet to succumb to use. My girlfriend doesn't mind it; she wears it sticking up.
