Hey everyone, I'm new here. Can anyone help me out with CCP sizing?

I'm really considering a CCP gloved leather in size 44, but I'm wondering how the leathers fit compared to other pieces.

Also, I'm about 5'8, ~52kg, so if it would be too long, thats a no.

This is the shoulders on a sz. 44 CCP long coat, from 09, but I think he does this same piece every year. The shoulders and arms fit just perfectly and I couldn't be happier with it.

Sorry for the crappy pic, I can take some better, more informative photos later.

I would like a leather to fit really tight, especially in the body, which is why I'm considering a julius, but I also dislike raglan shoulders. Plus, I am absolutely floored by the CCP designs--something I could really wear with a white button down and slacks as well as jeans and a T.

Any and all advice would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Simple, dumb question. Drkshdw - do they do sizes different for the Japanese market? Or can I get something off Yahoo.jp and it'll fit the same as the euro/us market. The only reason I ask, is back when I worked for Cloak - we did different sizing for the Asian consumers...

Feel free to PM me, or answer here.

      Cheers

        @luxaeterna:

ccp leathers from 2009 are one size bigger than tailored pieces, so if you're a 44 in the coat, you're most likely a 42 in the gloved jacket.

And, please, get rid of this tie next time

is that necessarily true? i know you need to size down on the scar stitch leather, but the 46 in the donkey gloved high collar leather was too small for me when i tried it on at A. i'm a 48 in all ccp outerwear (overlocks fw07 and s/s07). maybe i need to try it on again.
Did you get and like the larger dick?

strange, because the 44 in this donkey gloved thing fit like a 46 already!

I found 2009 ccp leathers to be quite roomy on the shoulder/armhole area, and the sleeves are definitely less tight than they used to be.

I manage to compare 2 size 46 ccp jacket (LM/2498 HOIL) from the 2009, different batch, different fitting. Totally inconsistent wack.

and luxaeterna, size 44 might be a little bit too boxy on you. You need to find a size 42 from CCP fe-male.

In my Experience leathers fit one size smaller than the tailored pieces. I am a 46 in any coat or suit jacket I have tried or own so far but the 46 leathers were always too roomy...

Thanks for the input! Tie comment noted, lol.

I guess finding a 42 will prove rather difficult, I suppose the best way would be a custom order and a year long wait...

Has anyone here handled the CCP "classic diverging belt" as shown on A's website? I was curious if that buckle can be adjusted up/down the belt to adjust sizing at all... from the pics it looks like there's only one hole for the buckle, and A told me they've only got a 46 in stock. I'm normally a 48 but danged if I'm still thinking about this... belts, normally being adjustable, might have some flexibility, but I wouldn't assume anything in one of Mr. Poell's works, esp judging from the lack of multiple holes (a feature I certainly wouldn't want to go against by punching my own in this case). Thanks in advance for any info...
I think they're easily the number one punk item.

the whole point of this buckle construction is the ability to move it to any position you want.

^ thanks much. I thought so but having never handled it in person wanted to check before I considered dropping the ca$h, in case I were to find it somehow fused to the leather. Now I must continue to sweat the purchase...

have a question about ann sizing on her sneakers. from what i know and have tried her sneakers mostly fits true to size. i guess i wont have this luck, but its no chance her older sneakers fits different? so a 41 could accomodate a 42?

have seen two white high top sneakers in 41, exactly the model i want but both are 41... they look pretty old and fucked up so i guess theyre from an older season.

                          these are the sneakers

^ i've tried on a pair of lowtops (can't remember the season but they weren't the ones you linked) and the fw09 triple buckle sneakers and both fit a size large, my 43 feet fit well into a 42.

the 2 pairs that i've tried both ran TTS. I tried going down one size and it was too snug for me, I suppose it may stretch out after wear but my toes felt pretty cramped
