^^Amen to that and yeah, I think that's the era on mine too. Definitely the slim fit / cut version. I mean, I've worn those pants like 1000 times and the 3/4 lining on the inside even holds up. haha If I could get them made in 10 materials, I swear I'd buy 10 pairs and wear no other pants. Is there a tag in there somewhere? I'd love to figure out the model number on mine, but as I recall, there are no tags on Devoa items, right?

I have the twist pants from that era in heavy cotton and also love the fit on them. Quiet a feat to make such a fit (sorry...).Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months - Oscar Wilde

I'm so thrilled with my footwear right now.
winter: guidi boots and cherevichkiotvichki derbies
summer: margiela flat sandals and YY sneaks
add in a pair of vintage skimmers for weddings / funerals, and wellies, and that's all the shoes I own. Hyperfunctional, and I still enjoy them every day.
I picked up this wool shift from Eileen Fisher, of all things, and have worn it multiple times / week all winter. Hilarious.
Every day I'm not wearing that grandma dress, it's Ann on the top and MMM or CdG on the bottom + enormous ridiculous sweater.not baller

I love double-duty footwear.
And I get the Eileen Fisher thing. Late '90s, the long knit merino tube skirts in muddy grey with combat boots… you just have to turn the expectation on its head..

Oh god yes, those are the best.
A dear friend of mine really only wears them or tweed pants from Worthington and the like, and is probably the best-dressed 22 year old I know.
And at the end of the day, I'm pretty much going for dark British grandma. You can pry my XL handknit Irish wool cardigans and Pringle from my cold, dead hands.not baller

I'd be interested to know how many of you guys still regularly wear things that you bought 5+ years ago. I know the idea of aesthetics being fairly sustainable and designs being durable/well constructed are central to the ethos here. Does this actually translate to what you wear though?
If you do, what are these items?

I basically live in either this one pair of bbs moleskin pants or these linea heavy leather pants. Ill occasionaly rotate some of my many many other pants into the mix but i always come back to those two, regardless of he weather. Shirt wise, i live in cp shades tees, flannels and linens. Its such a weird impulse of mine, and ill try to break it and throw on rick or leu or luc or whatever but i always just end up changing into cp shades tops. Whatever i cant help it. Ill be buried in a luc knit though.
