I kind of thought the idea was to find the brands that actually make up our wardrobes. Maybe a few are embarrassing, but many are just not the usually discussed ones. I didn't think that was the point, I thought the point was to try and get a better snapshot of people's day-to-day (i.e. non-WAYWT) outfits. I found it interesting, at least partly because I realized my summer and winter wardrobes are almost entirely different brands, and in many ways are fundamentally different styles. Meh, late to work.

yes that was the point. the "more than three" thing seemed pretty key to me too, you know as distinct from just listing every brand that you own, which is, indeed, just like the closet/show off thread.

but what does more than 3 really say about someone's wardrobe and their dressing habits?
i assume that everyone must have at least 3 RO/drkshdw items. its almost mandatory to be on here.
i still have yet to grasp the point of this thread.

if you break this down into age/income/marriage status etc. (not that im advocating that) then one might better grasp of what it means to have 3+ something.
if someones a 21 yr old college student and they have +15 julius pieces, then theres something interesting going on. until then, this thread is alphabet soup.

I can read tea leaves and alphabet soup and found it very revealing. There are no brands I have 10 items of Uniqlo excepted (all white tees). Most people here are this way. I didn't count ties/underwear/etc.

Personally I try to keep it wearable and movable 9I fail) but I still don't have a humongous wardrobe; just a pretty large one. Sure it might be relevant to say I buy a lot of "big" pieces (blazers, suits, outerwear) and almost no dres shirts or whatever but I don't want to know if you're balling, I wanna know what you really buy and wear.

For example I learned how popular MMM was with the forum, was surprised at people wearing McQueen and lots of CdG and Junya.

H&M (All Dress Shirts for Clinic)

What I wear daily varies with weather but the 3 items that get more use than any other items in my closet are:

1 Gitman Bros dress shirt
1 Pair of Number Nine jeans
1 Pair of Sak shoes

Though these are the most used items in my closet I don't own more than 1 item from these companies.
