The front velcro area seems problematic, and I agree with the comments on the leather on the tops of the forearms. I saw this piece and the leather version at the rick Palais Royal store but it was too much of a hassle to try on, and I really hate velcro...

oh yeah and dior fw07 leather did the side buckles far more justice imo

I tried that thing on in all leather at Maxfields and it was way too gnarly looking. Not only did it fit huge compared to his other leathers, but the sleeves bulged out as did the shoulders and I ended up looking like a leather robot.

i apologise for bringing up this piece. had no idea it was quite so troubled - the photos did not convey it so well as the fit images posted later.

To be honest, at 10K Yen, I would still be tempted... but I suffer from Apple-style reality distortion when I see anything that has the bloody RO logo on it.
