I think canvas or cotton is the way to go as it needs to stand up under rain and be somewhat breathable. I'd consider leather but in 80-90 degree weather it might be too much to wear around

I ended up ordering the canvas silent backpack, coming tomorrow but am looking for something better since I can return it.
