I noticed this shoemaker over in the Song for the Mute show over in the Designers forum, and I think they deserve some coverage here (nobody's posted them yet). The designer is Andrew McDonald, I think there are a couple szers that work with him. Here are a couple of my favourites, check the rest out here.

i need recommendations for some nice and cheap winter shoes that doesn't completely butcher everything else im wearing.
As some of you know, I've relocated to Iceland, and the weather here demands something more sturdy than domas ss09 low boots for the winterpart of the year.

My budget is 200 euro.

saw these dog fur mongolian boots and found them pretty interesting but not sure of quality or comfort..

I like them both. The Mongolian ones are more interesting, but the second pair is more streamlined, which is better for your look. Do they have them in other colours?

the second one are available in beige and white. but only the black for men.

Centrale is a SZ affiliate, and Chris is a really nice guy. No idea about Shoto, sold at Barneys I believe (or used to be).

yes barneys used to carry them... remember seeing a lot of them last winter... leather quality was not so amazing, but they might have stepped up their game a lit bit.
