so dior homme nyc already received a bunch of fw items, mostly various kinds of black denims, tees and blazer jackets. i must say some of the blazers are pretty good, especially the ones in tweedy material. on another note, barneys actually buy the sarouel pants, i tried them on today. they look... really weird, as if i'm shitting on my pants and carrying my poop around in my pants (this coming from a person who loves dropped crotch pants). and the legs below the thighs are very slim on those pants. barneys have also received some raf, ann, dries and yohji.

What do you guys think of the 'The End' dior denim? Its the one with only 1 back pocket on the right and patches on the left.

how does the RO leather this season compare with S/S? While I'm really
happy with how my RO leather looks, I have to admit it's a bit delicate
for a leather jacket. Are the A/W leathers more significant? Or is it
just the lining.

His leather is usually sturdier for AW, which is the case this season as well.

That Ann gray double coat is dope. It's lined in fur, and it's $3,200. Of course you are getting two coats :-).

I like the RO pea coat as well - I did not see the back, it makes the coat. [Y]

I don't think this is a conservative buy at all (unless they already sold out of RO heels, that is).

I'm also somewhat surprised by thier buys this season. The only thing I can guess is that this is only a fraction of what they'll be recieving and hopefully they'll get more pieces from Raf, RO, Ann, etc.

i know that barneys bought these really atrocious yohji pieces that looked like cowichan knit details on the arms of sweaters and coats. i was under the impression that the collections had some edgier pieces than what atelier picked up. i don't think a conservative buy (if it even is conservative) is a bad thing in general as i dress pretty subdued i.e. boring.
