Probably leather rubbing against leather somewhere in your shoe. You can check if you can remove an insole or something. I had this with a few pairs having leather insoles.

Likely been asked...that being said, for those in the know, with Rick having moved some of his production to Moldova, are things still being done ethically?

Can I justify buying pieces in a moral, as well as style sense?

Based on some of your fits that included extremely deep discounted pieces from a local retailer that uses these brands to make patterns for their house line knock offs....were you ever buying Rick ethically?

Sorry, made the assumption based on your last fit pic that you buy some of your Rick from Maison Simons in Montreal. Their business model is not a secret. I could be wrong but those leather shawl collar blazers were so cheap there at the end of season.

Regardless, my point is, it isn't just production that makes buying something an ethical decision. No need to debate over PM, it's much more interesting here to provoke thought.

I have bought an island shirt and a blazer there, though I paid the same price as at SSENSE when they went past 50%...
The shawl collar one in question I purchased from a person on another forum.

In your estimation, is SSENSE's business model ethical?

The only stores in our common area that carry Rick (a VERY limited selection) are Michel Brisson (price is marked up beyond reason...and with Rick, that's saying something), SSENSE (have to order online), and now they have DRKSHDW at Maison Simons. re.born is no more.

Where do you spend your money? I say that sans connotation :)
