If I reply "fuck you" to a lowball offer, eBay can't do anything, right?

I think you can get reported for "harassing users" or something but I don't think it matters unless you do it multiple times in a short period.

Don't forget to write it as:

You could use the corporate version of FU: "Okay, that’s great!"
"The only rule is don't be boring and dress cute wherever you go. Life is too short to blend in."

Or I could ask for payment as gift and not send anything. That will teach him.

Send them a proportionate percentage of the garment -- same ratio as their lowball to your asking price. Half a sleeve, couple buttons.

Fashion by its very nature has always been an elitist enterprise. an aspirational business. The democratization of high fashion was the beginning of death of fashion. It started with the courting of celebrities for front row seats. They were not industry professionals and should have had nothing significant to do with the showing of designer collections in the first place. Then came the bloggers, who were not journalists, but a second unorganized tier of press people who were brought in for more publicity. Another round was added by opening some shows to the public and even now he who shall not be named is selling "tickets" to his show at MSG.

Now the whole industry is changing because the wagon is drawing the horse, an industry whose whole existence was to determine what people wear and influence their taste, has now been placed in a tailspin where it's operation and manner of functioning is not being determined by its leaders, nor buy industry professionals, but by a low level appeal to "consumers"

At this stage there is almost no real difference between an high fashion brand and a fast fashion one more than "image"........
We have all become panderers to the masses now.
“You know,” he says, with a resilient smile, “it is a hard world for poets.”

I told someone to F.O. on Grailed after receiving a $120 offer on a $300 item. His reply? Hitting me with offers of $80 and $60. I actually thought that was pretty funny :)

Minimum offer on a $300 item would be $180 though? Or you mean $300 originally.

                                It was $150 (50%) before that, now it's 60%.
