After seeing Chrome Hearts popping up here and there in the Russian ghetto of New York, it kinda hit me that's CH can be seriously eurotrashy. I don't know why it hit me only now... Saw this woman today in Chrome Hearts jogging suit that's only twice removed from a Juicy Couture (the elegance of the huge leather cross on her back was offset by a Tory Burch bag).

Everything after the FW09 Strange Birds collection has been a gradual downhill for me. But then again, its the same feeling for most of the other Japanese street-wear labels; so it could be a change of taste too.

I think DBSS's styling has gotten worse. Maybe their collections have as a whole. But I've been handing a lot of the stuff since I got to Tokyo a few months back and it's still good.

Also on the topic of chrome hearts... if I had ¥100,000 for every time I've seen someone in Tokyo wearing what looks to be around ¥1,000,000 of CH on their hands I'd buy it too. Maybe.

i am hating all my clothes. probably more about what's going on in my head in general these days but i looked dangerously womanly when i left the house this morning so i went back home and put on a flannel. i have no idea where this post is going but i definitely need a sartorial change.
