i think calling out the cheap brands a poster's wearing is like asking everyone in head-to-toe ccp, "what do you do for a living?" it's easy and, ostensibly, not what sz is about.

the poster in question wouldn't be here if he didn't find something aspirational in the photos/discussion. worse, this sort of stuff sets a precedent.

I don't see how it's the same. Repeat, this is a fashion forum. Ownership is part of it. We already had this analogy, but would you go on a BMW forum and boast about your Ford?

Venus, I understand what you are saying. But one can surely contribute to the forum and not necessarily post own outfits? Some people who post here don't have much designer stuff in their closets, but they don't post their H&M outfits either. Servo, for example, seems to be interested in fashion, but I don't think he actually owns much of it. This does not prevent him from discussing designers' work.

i think it was magician who posted a cardigan everyone thought was a rick owens and turned out to be from target. ive never mistaken a bmw for a ford and i don't follow cars at all. must be a real master of illlusion.

oh weh mir, i contest the second look. poell boots dont stand up well under all that drape, which looks out of place itself. and your own physical proportions don't seem to suit the silhouette all that great. kind of makes you look like a centaur but with a cyclopse eye.

yeah, was thinking the same about poell boot + drapes. to me it's pushing a little too costume.

I quite like the contrast of very thin upper half with voluminous lower half, and I think the boots top things off perfectly.

Donkeys are stubborn so you have to whip the fuck out of them to go anywhere. I saw it on a movie once.
He wasn't literally whipping him...just in a virtual way he seemed to target the WAYWT in question. It just seemed like an old fashioned virtual (online) brow beating.
