Asho: Neat, but to be honest i think its sort of pointless to attempt to mirror the awesomeness of a brand like LUC if you dont have a top of the line camera and the right light settings, as most of the beauty lies in the small details such as the fabrics.
Im sure that outfit is astonishing in real life but the pictures do not do it justice.

you are of course correct. the camera is capable of better pictures, just not in that particular person's hands, well not yet anyway. If descriptions help you visualise pants are heavy cotton canvas and the knit is a light ribbed cashmere.

I took this horrible picture to show someone my new soviet belt. The belt is not super visible, but you can sort of see my outfit so here it is



I'm sure most won't like the footwear but those are probably my favourite shoes

The belt does create strange proportions, but i like it a lot. What are the shoes, btw? And where is the pic of that Chalayan top you got?

boots are a prototype so I can't really show them in any more detail than this, which is a shame, as I'm quite proud of them and would love feedback.

Sorry SZ, I'm trying lots of things those days, and I need to know if this is hit or miss.

The problem with that GBS coat is to wear it without looking contrived - or costumed, which is likely to happen with that kind of antic pattern.

So I found this idea of wearing it partially unbuttoned, along with a comfy red scarf. Wearing the J-pants in this context was a bit risky maybe, since they look a lot like gaiters - but I wanted to give them a try anyway.

Thanks laika! The shoes are grey brogued mary janes by Maud Frizon, if you can believe that. I love them because they have amazing proportion with 1,5inch heels (I find most middle-heels horrible)

And you are right, I owe you a Chalayan pic, I'll wear it sometime next week and take a pic, promise!
