I don't want to distract from Maldoror's sartorial achievements here, but to me that's what Carpe is about independent of the wearer. Well, it's definitely why I like it. They are just fantastic garments in themselves. You just put them on, no effort, no premeditation required.

Very true but I feel it looks best when the clothes looked lived in. This requires a certain nonchalance/don't give a fuck attitude. It's really easy to become self-conscious when wearing these garments either by the way one carries themselves and/or what they choose as complementary garments.
