I think it's actually short shorts, but whatever.
I agree. Everything seems a touch too small. Which I realize is a popular look, but I feel it often comes across as uncomfortable.

:) Tight jeans are the most comfortable things to wear if they're stretch, feels like longjohns.

hmm gotta try the shorts and longjohns combo someday too

        –Tom Scott convertible sweater
        –RO men's sleeveless tee
        –RO paneled legging
–Guidi back-zip heeled boot, tobacco donkey leather
        –Ann D necklace

Tom Scott designs pieces that usually offer more than one silhouette; most can be reversed or worn upside-down, often both.

        Back of sweater. Or front.
        royal baby alpaca yarn

I'm not sure what your after with that get up, but it's 1989 in the Castro or tenderloin for starters and your short skirt prob attracting the wrong clientele
One wonders where it will end, when everything has become gay.

I don't dress the way I do to attract clientele.

Great outfit, but if I am to comment on anything, you might want to even grow your hair longer, or keep it shorter. Now it looks like it has it´s own life. No offense, my hair is the same way at that length.

haha yeah I had a hair cut last week and it's a tad shorter than I'd like, but good for the warmer Melbourne weather right now though, having long hair was starting to get annoying

M M Intimidatingly well-dressed as always! Your fit is always spot on.

Oblivion I agree with the "too small" comments. If you hadn't said it was a skirt, I would have just thought it was a long thick t-shirt under your button-up shirt, so I don't think the skirt has the effect you might want it to have. And jeans are too tight in my opinion! I don't like it when they are tight on the calf especially, but that's just my opinion.

Interest1 I really like that sweater. I have a yohji sweater that can also be worn upside down so I appreciate the versatility in a piece like that. Plus those boots get me every time

boots and gloves are good size...and i'm not sure about the gloves. i realize there is an intention to wear the clothes cropped and shrinkwrapped like that, the problem is it looks uncomfortable, and therefore forced, kind of like you're wearing your little brother's clothes. and little sister's in this case. there should be a natural ease to clothing, even when wearing dramatic pieces (like skirts, etc.). check andrewislasorad and christian's waywt's for examples.

don't mean to be harsh but you'll thank me in the end

no definatly don't think its harsh! I crave feedback, like I said I've never worn a skirt before so I want to improve get CC and so on..

If I was to create a similar outfit again at this point I would skip the shirt completely and wear the kilt further down probably at my knees. (Had the kilt under my shirt above my belly button to make it shorter)
