Thanks! Yea, looser pant-shapes is a frontier I have yet to explore. All the more "adventurous" pants I own get almost no wear so I've settled into a single silhouette with varying colors/materials when it comes to the bottom half. There's also the matter of footwear, if I buy wider pants I'll have to get new shoes and it's a slippery slope. If I had $$$ I would love to try one of Adeline's beautiful creations. Until then, I shall be continually humbled by Christian's zen mastery of varied pant shapes.

Mona- Did you make the clutch? I am about to make nearly the same piece right now.



Really like the top half, sloth like but still elegant. I would like to see it paired with relaxed pants to continue the theme.

Not sure I think it'd be better with bigger pants- but I do like big pants.

sistersuzie, I tend shy away from color myself so that may be influencing my impression, but I think what isn't working for me in this outfit isn't specifically the colors, it's the textures. It's a bit hard to tell, but from the photo most of the fabrics seem to be some kind of cotton jersey or otherwise untextured weave, and I think that element in combination with the colors is what isn't working. It's a bit flat, I think.

Interesting! Actually the cardigan and the tights are knits. I understand your impression from the picture though. Also, we unfortunatly miss the volume of the orange tank that's pretty circular above the tighter piece.

Sistersuzie - love the bold solid colour, it nicely balances the blacks/greys which otherwise might result in too heavy a look. The boots are perfect, gives the whole fit an edge.

I like the combination of orange with, and one side, the black of the clothes, and, on the other side, with the light colours of you skin and hair, and I think in both case they complete each other very well.
I would have removed the light grey stockings nevertheless, since they break the main colour combination based on a strong contrast.
