Shucks i like the top half, a combination i wear a lot myself, but for that look the bottom half looks a bit restricting for my tastes...you can keep the slim bottoms, but perhaps untuck them from the boots.

Hah, hah. Surrounded by an "embarrassment of accessories-riches" this morning, and with the imagined voices of your avatars floating into my ear, I tried what was suggested and forced myself to aim for less rather than more. Still, a Brilli leather covered nolex caught my eye as I was to leave, and that was that. Minimal or maximal, this is me.

Doesn't the nolex capture nicely what SZ is about, challenging the normative on our own terms? It turns out that taking shapes with supposedly strong identities, branded and developed and pushed for decades, and doing something as simple as gluing leather over it, or to paint over the jewel can explode the identity of the commodity.

you're making me very happy with that last post, very happy. i think you could really gain a lot from simplifying / streamlining your outfits in this way more often. really lets the shape and drape of the clothes do the talking, as these designers seem to fall on you really nicely.

^ I cannot tell. I got it from the Bay last spring ; it's been worn and washed a lot though, since the care instructions are unreadable. Maybe it's quite an old piece, I really don't know.
