The jacket is by Ann. Although I have to say I just took a photo for the sake of it... Still I'd be interested in hearing in what way it is unflattering?

Mistake on my part with pluralizing pieces. Kind of figured the jacket is the only Ann piece worn.

I do believe the outfit as a whole makes this piece look much worse than it probably actually is (should have probably added this in my previous post). IMO I feel if this jacket didn't have the (wool?) collar it wouldn't look so bad. Something about the collar, style and material does not quite work (could be due to the picture quality).

I also think for this particular piece it shouldn't be paired with a pair of denim jeans and a t-shirt. It just drops the value of that jacket.

The collar is fur. It's removable, but the cut of the collar is designed for it to be there and it doesn't look right without it.

As far as the styling is concerned, I agree but what can I say, I'm a typical jeans and t-shirt guy, except for drop crotch/oversized stuff that doesn't look quite right with this jacket. Anyway, thanks for the feedback and maybe in time I will learn to wear this in a more interesting way

Zamb, looking very good. I really don't think the shoes were a faux. I think it all works really well together.
I must say it is nice to see an nice image on here rather than some of the more contrived outfits/images.

Damb Zamb,

As your fellow kangaroo hockeyes twin, I think they look fabulous with a darker color palette. As docus noted above, the counterpuntal, light note is a great one. In fact, for me, it makes the ensemble complete. (Though, I'll note I've styled them with an ash-stained, white L'Maltieri leather jacket and looser white jeans, and enjoyed them with light colors.) Ultimately, looking comfortable in what you are wearing "makes," in the majority, the outfit. Z demonstrates this thoroughly.
