one of the problems i keep encountering is that most of the sz-related shoemakers are on this strange quest to reinvent the workboot. in nearly all cases, the result produces something beautiful in terms of the texture and, occasionally, the toebox..but its almost universally lacking a proper waist/heel, and oftentimes feels completely flat.

i think i'm going to have to get together with vaz and get a pair of boots made to my specifications with the sort of rugged and organic quality in the material but also a proper sort of heel, defined waist and taller shaft..

thinking the same about that "shoes" matter.. can't wait to see the result if you did that

Yeah, this is so very good and that jacket is absolutely fantastic. I'd like to find something similar to the vintage CdG jacket in terms of fabric and treatment, but they're all cut so small and short in body and sleeves, which works perfectly for you but I need my yohji comfort.

Thanks ! I don't know much about the jacket. According to the seller it is from a FW collection circa 1995. Splendid milled wool fabric, a bit crumpled and fuzzy.
The seller is on the Bay - based in HK. He sells very frequently CDG jackets, some of them being quite the thing. His pictures are rarely accurate though, but I like that : buying something and knowing that what you get isn't exactly what you imagined - just surprisingly better
