At the moment the camera got off, the Moth noticed an older gentleman coming out of the bushes at his right ; he was looking quite like a freshly retired pharmacist or accountant, unhappily married, dull and shy.
He was wearing lycra boxers, and his legs were shaved.
As he was running up and down the lane at some distance, making small, clumsy jumps across the ditch once in a while, as to somewhat maintain his sporty composure, at intervals he would stop and look in the Moth's direction, bending forward, waiting for something, or so it seemed.



The Moth affected not to understand, but he had to admit that his beard and attire made the mistake forgivable.
People usually didn't take a walk in the forest wearing tweed suits just because they happened to like the smell of wet tweed.
And in a sense it sounded much more sick than using the excuse of jogging in the woods for giving blowjobs to random partners.

merz you seem to be contradicting yourself. you say it's important to you to discern the reasons why someone has an affinity toward a certain aesthetic and that the reason may not be able to be explained "just yet"

why then do you presume that someone,who likes different shit than you (pop culture endorsed mall shit) is displaying empty affectations? why can't their choices be dictated by their formative experiences or unexplained ("just yet")reasons).?... or do their formative experiences not count because they have "bad taste"?

i think sz should be like a dinner party. where we can take one little comment from a person and turn it into a conversation that is not necessarily about that person, just something to talk about.

i do stand by my position tho. leaving the casual encounters to craiglslist for a moment, my point is that if someone is missing a few of the minor traits i'm looking for in a relationship (music, fashunz) but still has some of the major ones (intelligence, curiosity, and at least a vague appreciation of beauty, art, creativity) then i can overlook the small stuff. because even if she hasn't gotten it yet, i think she will be able to get it eventually. at the very least she can understand, accommodate, and perhaps even appreciate "it". whatever it is.
