no gloves hate here. i quite like em and wear em (often sans scarf). my point was about the never ending discussion of when does a fit looked contrived? when is the line crossed between "well put together" and "too well put together". to me,gloves worn in non glove weather crosses that line. yeah, i realize everyone's idea of appropriate weather is different and i'm not referring to any recently posted fit. my comment was a general observation in response to snafu's post/question.

also, i should add that some may not care about lookin "too well put together", and that's fine too

is it just me, but i dont't really get gloves without a scarf...

I just hate the idea of wearing gloves just because they are CCP and they cost €500 euro.

I had to take off my "€5000 euro" prosthetic titanium scarf, as it was really irritating my neck

To lay this to rest, it was cold enough for me to wear said bitch-mittens. Not like those gloves are lined with rabbit fur to keep your digits warm in the blistering winter anyhow. Hell, if I suffered from Raynaud's syndrome I would have to wear gloves year round.

Pretty bizarre how strong some people's opinions seem to be on wearing gloves. Doesn't really bother me either way and they look good in that picture (in my opinion, at least).

And as for that summer remark, I live in Texas so even now the average weather is hotter than many (if not most) SZ users' idea of summer. It reaches 35C+ on most days in summer.
