Why buy Blanche when the originals are so exquisite (and frankly, cost a mere fraction when first purchased, or found used.) It is also heartening to see when such pieces are appreciated and understood by others
It is one her of her best, without a doubt. I for one will miss Ann D's nuance and the poetic pathos she injects in her work, but I haven't purchased anything from a current season for years. (Perhaps the rest of you SZers can afford to do so, but I can't.) Her assistants are perfectly capable in any case.

Although, the only downside to it, is that the leather version of this same jacket has inner pockets. The denim one doesn't (although the denim one is way better imo) cool fit.
