They do make a decent looking suit yet even though I worked with them for 6 years I never bothered getting one...Hi. I like your necklace. - It's actually a rape whistle, but the whistle part fell off.

whatever one may think of their products, from the very minor dealings i've had with them, my take on dolce & gabbana is that it is/was a pretty professionally run business, at least relative to other italian firms...
their ethics when it comes to paying taxes, though, seem to possibly be more in line with the national average...

Nevertheless, I could easily name some others I have dealt with that were in a league of their own, even by Italian standards.Hi. I like your necklace. - It's actually a rape whistle, but the whistle part fell off.

right, i was mostly thinking operations/strategy. for instance buying back the d&g license but keeping the operations almost completely separate from the main line and making d&g practically a separate business unit, was genius from a business perspective, imho. this was a few years ago, though.
i'll make a point out of getting you drunk (wine, was it?) someday to hear all those good client stories...

Ok, I will a little: even if a fit is terrible, better to let some comment happen as to why people think it's terrible. Deletion can just seem part and parcel with the whole "sick fit/terrible" dichotomy in people's responses, and encourages the idea that there's only success or failure rather than grey areas open to interesting discussion.
It's the borderline terrible outfits that are sometimes the most interesting, imo. As in: it's when treading the line of good/bad that we make new and interesting things. As much as this thread might serve to represent a particular "aesthetic" (*makes scare-quotes gesture with fingers*), if one never gets surprised, one eventually gets bored--and too many "safe" fits with "SZ approved" brands get posted here at times. Which creates a cycle, where new posters emulate the same fits that they see being posted/praised.
As much as Lelandj's posts about flouride being mind control or whatever have irritated me, he deserves at least to have the chance to embarrass himself, or to post a banal outfit, or maybe even do something different but OK, whichever this fell into, without being deleted. If the D&G cap was truly monstrous, we should all see it so we can give reasons why we think so.
(OK, that wasn't really a response to your post Interest1, you just reminded me that I had meant to post something along these lines yesterday and forgot... gonna leave the reply in there anyway cause it's kinda relevant... YOLOOOOO)
I hope we can stop at that and move on, please.Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months - Oscar Wilde

it’s only a detail, but I’d choose another watch here. that golden AP is just too much for the black minimalism, especially with all your silver jewelery and the chrome hearts bling. the different metals kind of bite each other. don’t you have something simpler? silver, blackened steel, or stainless even?
…but maybe this is something for the watch thread. in general, I find the huge swiss models to be very difficult to pair with.
