“You know,” he says, with a resilient smile, “it is a hard world for poets.”

Well I do agree that there have been some dodgy posts on this subject--The most embarrassing one would have to be when RickandJulius of Atlanta was spewing his fauxtopian southern fried teenage cul de sac viewpoint on the current state of equality.
no it isn't. it's about it being a room with a couple of bro's...
Please, we're a room/forum of men/dudes/bros wearing skirts and drop crotches and long drapey cardigans over skinny pants debating gender. Let's at least maintain a little sense of self-awareness here.
wow dude you look awesome, very hard to see how this is a costume lol.
thanks! most of it is the every day uniform minus the button up and slicked hair, been playing around with it this week as I had an interview but still wanted to leave it to grow out (read: laziness).
i love it when a man proclaims himself to be a "feminist, but...."
I'm not saying that criticism of my standpoint comes from lesser minds, but when it does it's always with insinuations quite like this, similar suggestions executed by the lesser minds to end a discussion they can't win. I'm a misogynist for implying that human behavior both depends on cultural and genetical circumstances. Ouch. You are right. Of course feminism must fight shy of any intellectual movement, like it's the plague, and submit to this monotonous feminism approved and sanctioned by the market liberal patriarchy.
No matter what the argument, all roads eventually lead back to men in skirts.
stylezeitgeist's law - is an observation made in 2014 which is becoming an internet adage. it states: "as an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving males in skirts approaches 1". in other words, it put forth the hyperbolic observation that, given enough time, in any online discussion regarding any form of conflict someone inevitably criticizes some point made in the discussion by comparing it to discrimination faced by men in skirts.
