Yeah I'm wearing something similar today myself, I think the overly skirt-looking skirt effect is owed to that tank top not having a curved front hem if anything.

Should've been more clear, I meant tucked combat boots.

I should probably take it in or cut it at an angle or both. (it's an XS and still a tad loose on me.) I'm having the same thing going on today with a tight Zam on loose BBS, I might need to cut down on wearing tight on loose or just start buying more women's XD but i don't want tight around the leg like a pencil skirt so I feel like I'm in a pickle.
Advice is appreciated!

I think it probably has to do with the weight of the fabrics as well, similar weighting will conform better than a tight thin top with a heavier fabric underneath.

The layered shirts makes it look as if you are wearing a sports bra. You're thin enough; why not just wear the BBS? A bit of nip visible through the BBS fabric isn't the end of the world.

while i really liked your previous fits, this one is a bit off imo: coat seems a tad too big (overall length and sleeves length, maybe it's also due to these round sleeves) and, to be honest... why not the ccp one ;-)?

I did feel that when I saw the photo, might be partially due to the angle of the shot. the coat is on the looser side but at least I can drive in it comfortably, important in this country.

not CCP because they wouldn't do a 42 for me (it's not for lack of asking).

I've tried a couple of fabrics for the high neck, hypothetically I could wear it as an overcoat but I don't have much use for one. I previously owned the 2009 fe-male version that was past knee length but it wasn't quite what I was looking for.
