I often find myself not even looking at who's posting. I can usually tell simply from the image or words contained in the message. Lowrey is Lowrey, Pnod is Pnod, and so forth.

Anyway, Lowrey is how I would dress if I knew how. So he always gets a thumbs up from me!

yeah i get a lot from lowery's waywt's. i get a lot from a lot of poster's. but i dig his style perhaps the most because its most similar to what works for me in my life. he rarely looks like a fashion victim. just great pieces, great fabrics, confident and stylish without looking forced or childish or tragically hip.

I strongly disagree with people saying that ML doesn't take "huge risks", if it means that what he does is easy.
On the contrary : his work is always very subtle - so subtle that one could think that it's standard or average. But it's the opposite : every detail - of fabric or colour - is always very well choosen and at the right place. His interest goes to colour scale, layering and first of all, proportions - perfect proportions. And it's the hardest job to do. His aesthetic is not a punch-in-the- face one, which is faaaaaaar away more easy to carry out successfully.

Seeming simplicity is often unaperceived subtility.

Let's play a game : I'd like to see people here who think that what he does is easy dressed in the regular ML way. They'll fail.
