forget cdg unless you are really into it. atelier, if, yohji are within walking distance of each other. between those three, i don't think you need anything else. doesn't sound like you are into n(n), not sure if you need a schlep. if you'll have time left, go to barneys and than hang out in central park or something...

I agree as well. The only reason you might want to walk over to CDG or NN is just to see the spaces, which are quite cool.

Thanks Faust and Cas! I actually did plan to stop into n(n) as well. Is it that far? I actually always stroll through the park purely for the sake of invoking nostalgia, but may have to pass this time around. Any suggestions on great dining experiences while we're at it? No recommendations on 32nd accepted. [66]

what do you like to eat?

i wouldn't bother with N(N) unless you are a fan of the brand - the place is nothing special, really dark, you can't see the fucking clothes for god's sake. it's in the middle of nowhere, and a bit of a hike and nothing else next to it, so i don't know, it's up to you.

Haha! I'm there!

I like to eat. I'm a foodie, so I'm open to anything that is exceptional. French cuisine is my favorite. Good fusion fare is nice. Plan to hit up WD-50 based on Albert's post. Throw some recommendations at me. I just ask that its filtered.

degustation is a good counterpoint to wd50. if you haven't been to any of the momofuku joints, you need to try ssam bar. for french, bar boulud is the new-ish casual place from the chef at daniel.
