My friend Miles has an exhibition at Steven Kasher which opened yesterday and Henri Bendel (no idea - looks colourful) are throwing a little gettogether on Tuesday (2nd June) where he will also sign his new book published by Editions 7L/Steidl.

"Artomatic" in SE DC. Bunch of local artists work occupies probably 4-5 floors in an unfinished office building.

Probably only worth going for the sculpture and glass work. The paintings are mostly terrible.

I just checked it out - it's awesome.

It was incredible. And, I'm not even the biggest F. Bacon fan. Shed a whole new light on the man, and helped me gain a new appreciation for his work. Glad to know he's one of my kind, too.

Anyone in paris know anything else interesting that's going on through the end of the month? I'll be there for fashion week but for a bit after as well - and i won't be at shows for my entire stay, so i was hoping there were some other interesting things going on while i'm there....thanks

of course i'm going to some museums, but wanted to check out anything else interesting...art related, architecture, etc....
