This looks really good, better than most major magazine shoots! Is this all Damir Doma or just some of it? I can't get over how beautiful the back of his vests are, I need one in my life...

Would the Fashion Photography thread be more appropriate for my last 3 posts or is that thread only about established photographers / famous photos?

Jevna is there a video of that shoot online some where ? I remember seeing it before. I quite like it but I can't help feeling it's a bit mainstream looking (although I understand what it was for etc.) ... But for the type clothes you are shooting couldn't you have pushed it a bit more in an anarchical direction ? I would like to see more of this with these type's of designers. No offence to you because I do like it (the photography especially) but it's just a bit rigid for me.

                Question

I have a N(N) blazer that is 3 button. I pulled one button off and covered the hole up with leather...then my imagination got the best of me...I started to add more accent leather here and there.

                My question is:

Is it sacrilegious to work over a designers work. The 3 button was dated to me.....but I liked the cut, so instead of selling I am repurposing....will post before and after pics...if I like it that is.

Yes, I own it, but if I bought a Picasso and thought something in the painting was dated, I think it would be wrong to change it. I feel bad altering another artists work. Oh well....just wondering if anyone else felt the same.

if it makes you feel bad don't do it. but with a picasso it's an original, with a nn garment there's many of them...mechanically reproduced they were.

I posted the recording of my piece "Untitled #6 for String Quartet" that was premiered in NYC last Thursday on www.myspace.com/planesandangles.
The recording isn't great, but the live performance of all the pieces was fantastic.

Hey, cool I didn't know there was another composer here either! I graduated with my MM from New York University about 2 years ago and I'm still trying to figure out how to make a living composing. Mostly I'm teaching a mishmash of music theory/piano/composition/electronic music private lessons while trying to build my career as a composer.

Are you studying at university? I'd be interested in hearing some of your work!

did this last night, nothing major but I had a piece of leather which I wanted to use and figured I'd do something useful.

bent and welded 9mm steel rod, black full grain calf leather.
